Rev. Paul Blair is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute (1975 - BS, Biology) and Asbury Theological Seminary, (M.Div. - 1979 and MAR in Biblical Studies – 1980, MA in Theology in 2002), Doctor of Humane Letters (Wesley Biblical Seminary 2005). He served as the associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Joplin, Missouri for two years (1980-81).

Paul and his family served in France as missionaries with OMS International for four years.  He, along with several other couples, helped to plant a church in the suburbs of Paris.

After returning from France in 1989, Paul served as an evangelist-at-large with OMS, working in discipleship and evangelism.  Paul is currently the President of the Francis Asbury Society.  Along with being responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of that position, he strives to see that the goals of the society are being met and its vision is being carried out. Along with those responsibilities, he serves on the board of Operation Appreciation, teaches a men’s Bible Study Class, and maintains a schedule as an evangelist.

Paul’s personal vision for the Francis Asbury Society is that more people come to a complete surrender of their lives to Jesus Christ.

Paul resides in Wilmore, Kentucky with his wife, the former Mary Snyder. They have three children, Bill, Katie, and Jenny.
