Elizabeth Foster works within the Wilmore area to enhance discipleship among the younger generation. She spent the majority of her life as a missionary’s child in Asia. Upon graduating high school in 2009, she returned to the United States to attend a Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission. After completing that program in 2010 she began her studies at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana. During her four years there, Elizabeth was involved in leading many ministries on campus. She graduated in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology and went on that summer to work as the young adults’ and women’s ministry intern at Colonial Woods Missionary Church in Port Huron, Michigan. It was during her summer in Michigan that she first heard about the Francis Asbury Society.
Elizabeth is passionate about knowing God and making him known in very tangible ways. As she has been involved in ministry, the Lord has given her a heart for teaching, discipleship, and growing closer to Jesus together in community. She moved to Wilmore in August 2015 to pursue a Master’s in Spiritual Formation from Asbury Theological Seminary and serve with the Francis Asbury Society. After a year of youth and young adult ministry with Christian Futures, she joined the Titus Women ministry staff.
