Rev. Hughes is an ordained elder and commissioned evangelist with the Church of the Nazarene and an associate evangelist with The Francis Asbury Society.

For over thirty years Jim has been in the ministry, sharing the gospel through preaching, music and drama.  This has taken him extensively throughout the United States and overseas, ministering in an average of fifteen different denominations a year.

Jim grew up in the parsonage and had the heritage of generations of deeply committed men and women as an everyday example.

The decision to move into full time service spanned many years of prayer and seeking God's heart.  His desire is to use whatever means God places at his disposal to seek and save the lost and to bring the church a fresh vision of who we can be in Christ.

Jim often travels with  his wife, Wendy, and their three children, Shannon, Holly, and James.  When not on the road, the Hughes family are active members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Vineland, New Jersey.
