Several friends have asked us to provide a list of prayer requests for FAS so that they can be praying for specific needs. Below are some of our current prayer requests and ways you can pray:

Dr. Dennis Kinlaw (Founder of the Francis Asbury Society)

Please pray for strength, health, discernment and wisdom for Dr. Kinlaw as he orders his time to accomplish the tasks God has laid before him.

Paul and Mary Blair (President of FAS)

Please pray for Paul and Mary as they settle into their new temporary home in Scotland. Pray for the relationships they will form and the opportunities they will have to share their faith. Pray for Paul as he begins classes and starts reading and writing. Pray that God will give him wisdom and guidance as he works on his dissertation.

Jim and Pam Harriman (Evangelist and Director of Latin American Ministries)

Please pray for healing, strength, and grace for Pam as she battles a life- threatening disease. Pray for strength and grace for Jim as he is the primary care giver for Pam and their two children. Pray for God’s love and protection on their children as they have lived for many days with a sick mom. Pray for the presence of the Holy Spirit in their home in these difficult days.

Paul and Jane Pedrick (Evangelist)

Please pray for Paul and Jane as Paul is battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy.

Building

Please pray as we seek approval on our permits so that we can begin building. Pray that God will direct the paperwork to just the right people and will grant us His favor with the local authorities. Pray for strength and wisdom for Charles Howell as he directs the building project and that God will surround him with an excellent building team. Pray God will be glorified in the process as well as the end result.

Upcoming Conferences

Please pray for God’s transforming presence at the upcoming conferences. Pray that God will make a way for each person to attend who He wants to be there. Pray for God’s anointing on the worship leaders and speakers.

Daily Operations

Pray that God will direct us as we daily seek to keep in step with the Spirit and all that He is doing in and through the Francis Asbury Society.
