GREAT NEWS!!  We are so pleased to announce that the Lydia Prayer Guide is now available in Spanish!  The prayer guide is also being translated into Bislama (a Melanesian Pidgin language) and a prayer group was started the end of May in Vanuatu.  The prayer guide was also presented at a New Guinea Ladies' Conference in September 2007.  Praise God for His many blessings and how this ministry is expanding across our nation.

On February 7 - 9^th, 2008, 100 women and 5 men from 18 states, 11 denominations, and 4 nationalities ranging in ages from 22 to 88 gathered to seek God together for revival. God met us! We believe he has heard our prayers and continues to hear our prayers as we continue to seek Him for revival in our own lives, the nation, and the world. We are so excited about the Lydia Prayer Group Ministry!  We believe there is incredible power when women meet together and pray.  In Acts 16:13-15, God led the Apostle Paul to Lydia's riverside prayer meeting and the course of history was changed.  We believe Jesus wants to do this again.  As we begin to pray together in Lydia groups across the country and around the world, Jesus promises to hear us.  Matthew 18:19-20 -- "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

Special materials are prepared for women to use in forming a prayer group that will encourage them in praying for revival in their families, neighborhoods, cities, churches, our country and around the world.    A Leader's Packet will include one copy of the Lydia Prayer Guide, the booklet Prayer of Faith by J. O. Frazer, information about upcoming women's retreats to pray for, a message on CD from Dr. Dennis Kinlaw entitled Living Out of Prayer, and information for obtaining additional resources on prayer.  We recommend each member of the group have their own individual copy of the Lydia Prayer Guide.

Is God calling you to lead a Lydia Prayer Group?
(taken from the Lydia Prayer Guide: Becoming a Woman of Prayer)

• Pray and wait on the Lord to speak to you.
   
• Ask Him to help you choose your prayer partners (3 to 6 is desirable).
   
• While you pray, become familiar with the "Lydia Prayer Guide."
   
• As the Lord leads you to other women, explain what it means to be a part of the Lydia Prayer Group.
   
• Give them some time to pray about it so they are sure that they are called to this ministry.
   
• Agree on a meeting place, preferable your home.
   
• At the first meeting with your group, read a passage of scripture, explain the heart of this ministry, and go over the prayer guide.  Have enough guides for each lady to have one.  Make it a special evening of commitment to prayer for revival.
   
• Give them time to think and pray in order to commit.
   
• After your group is established, agree on a prayer focus for each woman.  Let them choose to pray about a country or continent, etc.
   
• Always emphasize your main prayer concern, namely REVIVAL.  Ask the Lord to come, visit and change our homes, churches, nation, the whole world!  We need to pray until He comes!
